“Stardust”使用摄影师在海边收集的微型塑料垃圾（microplastic）为载体，再造了银河。关于星屑的创作思路第一点：科学理论表明人类或许是由星尘组成的。我们身体内的元素，和这个宇宙中任何一个恒星、行星以及彗星都没有什么不同。我们原本是、现在也是宇宙的一部分。第二，塑料也许是我们给地球带来最沉重的发明之一。它占领了大面积的海洋，沉积在海洋生物体内，最终来到位于食物链顶端的我们口中，人类的粪便中也已经检测出塑料微粒的存在。

人类、塑料垃圾、地球构成了一个新的循环——塑料星球，而我们本应只是星尘。

Stardust is a project which uses plastic trash collected by the photographer from the ocean edge to recreate a milky way. The photographer drew inspiration from two premises: the first, the scientific theory that human are made from star stuff. Our body share the same elements as stars in our universe. The second, plastic might be human's worst creation. It took over huge spaces in ocean, stays in sea animals and ends up in human body. There are plastic seen in human excrements. Human, plastic and earth formed a new cycle when we were all suppose to be stardust.

スターダストは海にあるプラスチックゴミを撮ってるシリーズです。日本語のタイトルは星屑になってます。

去年海にあるマイクロプラスチックゴミがますます進んでる文章を読んで、気になります。江ノ島でゴミを拾い始めました。拾いてから、うちで水で洗いて、歯ブラシで磨いて、綺麗の状態になるまでcleaningする。スタジオで撮りました。一回一回のものを整理して、記録する。星を拾う日記で書いてます。

科学者による、私たち人間がスターダストで出来ている。地球や他の星のライフサイクルと非常に親密に関係しています。この名前をつけました。
